I broke my original cord and I was sooo happy I was able to get this one within a few hours since I was able to get same day delivery. It is a real Apple cord, same one you would get from the Apple Store or your phone carrier company.I can't remember when I purchased it but i thought that it was going to die on me after a week of use. I got as the one that came with the tablet broke and so far its been working as good as the one that came in the box with the tablet.I have used this cable about twice a week for 3-4 months now and It still works. I don’t think about it and I don’t think I will have to worry in the future so that is a win!I use it in Honda Odyssey to hook up my iPhone to Carplay. a little pricey but it gets the job done. So far no complaints.I only get Apple chargers and cords now because my phone only charges with those. I had the high voltage block already since it came with my MacBook Pro so I just needed the cord to C. Got this one and it was as described. I’ve been having it for a couple of weeks now and it’s been super charging my phone and my daughters 10.2 iPad. That charger just stopped working out of nowhere after only 3 months. Hopefully this one holds up longer. It charges fast, as it should.Its definitely better than old Lightning cable (USB Type A).
