These are the best volleyball shoes that I have ever owned. They offer great support for your ankles because they come up a little higher than your average shoe. They are super light and really comfortable. I also have a higher than average arch and these shoes feel great! The soles react well on various courts. Hands down-- the best volleyball shoes for comfort and support! I highly recommend them!(btw Prior to this purchase, I'd only worn Asics volleyball shoes. They don't even come close to the quality of these Mizunos. Asics are too hard and just don't have much give. Take my advice and switch to Mizuno. I wish I'd done it much sooner!)PS In terms of sizing, go up half a size, especially if you are in between sizes. I am a 71/2/ 8 and I got the 8.Went on-line to search for the latest volleyball shoes for my daughter. Seached various websites that came to the same conclusion that this was the lightest and durable shoe currently available. Amazon found me the best price with no shipping or tax shipped directly to our home and delivered faster than promised. As of today the shoe has performed as described and the feedback from my daughter has been nothing but positive. Thanks AMAZON !!I thought from the picture of the shoe (the ad had great shots from all angles) that the toe was round & roomy but that is not the case, they are more pointy than round. Mine is an extreme situation though. I would highly recommend these shoes, they are excellently made & really beautiful. A lot of work has gone onto making this a technically exceptional shoe.I like these a lot. My favorite color is black. Unfortunately the puppy like this pair of shoes too and chewed on them.These are a very popular shoe for volleyball players. They are only worn for games and within 1 month the stitching is coming undone. I would think for shoes that cost over $100 that they would be better made.Mizuno continues improving their products. The Mizuno Wave Lightning RX replaced my daughters Mizuno Wave Lightning 7. She loves them and got permission from her high school coach to wear them during games despite fact the rest of the team wears Nike. She's a setter and right side hitter and Mizuno is only brand she wears that don't cause foot pain/fatigue.I love these shoes. They are very comfortable and the color is awesome! I have two pair of Mizuno's and I love both of them. There are a lot of quick stops and starts in racquetball and these shoes conform to the feet very well. I would recommend them to anyone to plays volleyball or racquetball.When we received these, I was concerned that the box was empty. That's how light these things are. My daughter loves these shoes. She couldn't be any happier. With most volleyball shoes, she has needed a bit of a break-in period. These were perfect right out of the box.
