As describedWe used this to run 214 feet of cable around the gym perimeter in our church building for our daughter's receptions this last December. We had one in his home town and one in ours. Worked incredibly well. We hung curtain lights, ceiling lights, fabric curtains and drapes, and garlands. We're now getting ready to do it again for our other daughter's May reception and several other brides that saw what we did at our first daughter's reception. Only warning I have is when decorating for your kid's wedding receptions, be prepared to get lots of practice, because everyone is going to want to do this.It was exactly what I ordered. Very pleased so far.Great product looks great! Used as horizontal balusters in new outdoor deck railing and it came out great. Its really sharp looking. Comparable stainless cable was 3 times the price and I think this galvanized cable looks just as good. Its for outdoor applications so it should only dull but not rust. I was looking for a bit more of an industrial look anyway.I used 1/8 Aluminum Crimping Loop Sleeve to finish the loop ends and was very pleased.Fantastic cable. Extremely strong and comes on a wooden spool. I would highly recommend this for your string light or support applications.PROS: well built, smooth (no burrs), easy to work with, wooden spool.CONS: IT STRETCHES!! Make sure to use turnbuckles (long ones) and plan accordingly. the amount of stretch in this cable was unbelievable.I got the 1/8 one. Thought it might look too small on my deck. But, NOP. Looks great. Used with the Muzata 20 packs kit. Worked like a charm..make sure you get the right tools to cut and crimp this little sucker. Small trick. I used scotch tape on the ends before feeding it through the ferrules. I also used shrink tubing on the ends when done. Contact me if you want the products I used to complete the job.Great quality, and I believe this company is tops. The only suggestion I’d make for those making zip lines is to consider spending extra for the cable that is flatten (smoother) if you want more speed and less vibration. Be careful, a steep angle and smooth cable will equal speed requiring a great deal of respect. So far seems to be working well.
